ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Criteria for Serving as School of Record

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ serves as the School of Record for the Accademia Europea di Firenze (AEF) in Florence, Italy and The Washington Center (TWC) in Washington, D.C.  The agreements to serve as school of record (SOR) are based on the following criteria:

  • ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ actively uses the program;
  • ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ has a stake in the academic content and quality of the program;
  • The program has appropriate control and oversight procedures in place;
  • Criteria for faculty hire, course design and approval, credit and grading, and student assessment are consistent with those of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ and with the commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges, which approves the School of Record agreement.

For the Accademia Europea di Firenze ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ maintains active oversight through university committees of all AEF faculty, all AEF courses taught by AEF staff; and all significant course modifications.

For The Washington Center ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ maintains active oversight through university committees of all TWC faculty, all TWC courses taught by TWC staff; and all significant course modifications.
