ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ started participating in (Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System) in 2011 and earned a Silver rating. STARS is a voluntary reporting framework for higher education institutions to track and measure sustainability performance.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ earned its 8th STARS Silver rating in March 2026. The rating is based on information reported across five areas: academics, engagement, operations, planning & administration, and innovation & leadership. An institution’s STARS score is based on the percentage of points earned in the four main categories plus up to ten points for innovative strategies and practices reported in the innovation & leadership category.
