Room Type Descriptions
These are general descriptions of the various room types available for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ undergraduate students. Each room type may have some aesthetic differences depending on neighborhood. For more information visit:

- Triple residence hall room:
- A triple room with a communal/shared bathroom, three students sharing the bedroom area having their own bed and furniture and sharing a communal bathroom located on the hallway. This space doesn’t include a common space.
- Locations: Colonnades, Loy
- Double residence hall room:
- A double room with a communal/shared bathroom, two students sharing the bedroom area having their own bed and furniture and sharing a communal bathroom located on the hallway. This space doesn’t include a common space.
- Locations: Historic, East, Loy
- Double residence hall room with private bath:
- A double room with a private bath has two students sharing the bedroom area having their own bed and furniture and sharing one private in-room bathroom together. This space doesn’t include a common space.
- Locations: Global and Colonnades
- Double residence hall room with bathroom connected to another double room:
- A double room with a semi-private bath has two students sharing each of the two bedroom areas having their own bed and furniture and sharing one bathroom together with four residents. This space doesn’t include a common space.
- Locations: Global, Pavilions, Virginia, Sloan, and Colonnades
- Single room:
- A single room is a private room with a door separating the bedroom from either the rest of the suite or the hallway. Singles could be a standalone single, a pod single, or an apartment single.
- Locations: Global, Colonnades, East, Historic, Danieley Apartments, Crest Apartments, Oaks Apartments, Stations at Mill Point Apartments (junior/ seniors), Park Place (Junior/ seniors)
- Standalone single residence hall room (single with private bath):
- A standalone single space is a private room with a door separating the bedroom from the hallway and has a private bath for the single occupancy to use. Standalone single spaces do not have a common space.
- Locations: Global and Colonnades
- Pod single room in a residence hall:
- A pod single has a single bedroom for one occupancy with a bathroom shared within the suite along with a common area for the occupants to use. Pod single with be either two single bedrooms with one bathroom or four single bedrooms with two bathrooms for the suite to use.

- Residence Hall Flat:
- A flat style residence hall has four double rooms within a suite.
- The Danieley flats come with a common space and kitchenette along with two bathrooms for the suite.
- The Historic Flats have a communal bathroom located in each flat.
- Locations: Danieley Flats (not apartments) and Historic (HBB)
- A flat style residence hall has four double rooms within a suite.
- Apartment Single Room:
- Apartment singles have a full common space, kitchen, and at least two bathrooms within the suite, each occupant having their own single room.
- Locations: Danieley O&P Apartments, Oaks Apartments, Crest Apartments, Station at Mill Point (junior/ seniors), Park Place (junior/ seniors)
- Apartment Double Room:
- Apartment doubles have a full common space, kitchen, and at least two bathrooms within the suite, each occupant shares one of the two bedrooms with one other occupant.
