Spring 09: ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ awards honorary doctorate to alumnus Noel Allen

Noel Lee Allen, a 1969 ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ alumnus whose distinguished legal career has won international accolades, received an honorary doctor of humane letters during ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ’s Convocation for Honors on March 31. The degree was conferred by President Leo M. Lambert and presented by John G. Sullivan, professor emeritus of philosophy.

President Leo M. Lambert honored for support of experiential education

The National Society for Experiential Education has named ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ President Leo M. Lambert the winner of an inaugural award for his contributions to experiential education. Lambert, one of 29 nominees for the honor, will receive the William M. Burke Presidential Award for Excellence in Experiential Education this fall at the society’s annual conference in Dallas.
