Life@ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ book club meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 10, at 1:30 p.m., has been cancelled due to road conditions.

The former NPR correspondent had been slated to deliver a lecture about The Race Card Project, an initiative she launched in 2010 to spark conversation about race in America.

Johnson, an assistant professor of history, moves into the role of director after teaching COR 110 and Core Capstone Seminars, as well as being tapped as Common Reading coordinator in 2015.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s School of Health Sciences welcomed two new classes of graduate students to the university community this week.

The veteran coach joins Phoenix athletics after serving as an assistant coach at Alabama and NC State and as head coach at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Shea will fill the newly created position at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ and oversee major operational units of the university under the direction of Senior Vice President Gerald Whittington.
