Entrepreneur shares advice for students in lecture series

An Ƶ parent and CEO of a company that provides software solutions for the federal government has a piece of advice for entrepreneurs: when writing a business plan, never forget to show how you’ll execute it to make money for investors. Raj Ananthanpillai offered that wisdom and more on March 14 in the LaRose Digital Theatre as the latest university guest in the C. Ashton Newhall Endowed Lecture Series.
Martha and Spencer Love School of Business kicks off anniversary year

The announcement of two major gifts highlighted a 25th anniversary gala event for Ƶ's Martha and Spencer Love School of Business. Students, faculty, staff and friends of the school gathered Feb. 5 to kick off a yearlong celebration of the school's founding in 1985. The gala featured the announcements of major gifts by Ƶ parent and trustee David Porter and the Martha and Spencer Love Foundation.

Former Congressman J.C. Watts to hold question-and-answer session TODAY

J.C. Watts, former Republican congressman from Oklahoma and a commentator and strategist, will hold a question-and-answer session at 11 a.m. today in Whitley Auditorium. Watts is visiting campus as the seventh Isabella Cannon Distinguished Visiting Professor of Leadership. He delivered a public lecture last night in McCrary Theatre.
