The Office of Graduate ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ has launched a new Web site designed to showcase the benefits of an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ graduate education and to simplify the admissions process for prospective students.

The MBA program of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Martha and Spencer Love School of Business is ranked as the nation's fourth "best administered" program and fifth in the "best campus facilities" category in The Princeton Review's 2011 edition of the "Best 300 Business Schools."

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's student-produced MBA blog, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ MBA: A Program for Your Busy Life welcomes three new student bloggers. The blog tells the stories of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ MBA students as they work toward their degree while balancing professional, family and community commitments.

Mary Gowan, dean of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, was appointed to the board of the Institute for Sustainable Development.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ MBA program welcomed 36 new students in September. This is the largest cohort in the program's history.

Maurice Jennings ‘57, founder of Biscuitville restaurant and Burney Jennings ‘87, Biscuitville president, will be featured as the Love School of Business Legends of Business speakers on Wednesday, September 15, 4:30 pm. in the LaRose Digital Theatre. The event is open to all ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students, faculty, and staff. A reception will follow.

Tina Das, professor of economics, and Casey Dirienzo, associate professor of economics and Associate Dean of the Love School of Business, have published a paper titled “Tourism Competitiveness and Corruption: A Cross Country Analysis” in Tourism Economics, 16(3): 477-492.

Kevin O'Mara, a professor of management, was elected president-elect of the Academy of Business Education for 2010-11.
