June is Pride Month, and the Gender & LGBTQIA Center at ������Ƶ offers events, resources and guidance for celebrating and honoring the month.

������Ƶ is featuring a variety of photos every month to highlight the exceptional learning, work and activities of students, faculty and staff.

Smiles. Tears. Hugs. Laughter. For graduates in the Class of 2026 who recognize African cultures and histories, an annual program on the eve of Commencement was marked by powerful expressions of community, love and family.

The annual ¡Celebremos!: Graduates Take Flight celebration highlighted the families, mentors and communities that supported students who celebrate Latinx and Hispanic cultures, traditions and experiences throughout their ������Ƶ journeys.

������Ƶ recognized 70 first-generation students – the institution’s largest group to date – during its May 20 stole ceremony, highlighting the strength, support and achievement of the first-gen community.

The Periclean Scholars Program inducted 16 rising sophomores into its 22nd cohort as students begin a three-year journey focused on ethical community engagement, global partnership, and food sovereignty.

The annual celebration recognized graduating seniors and members of the Asian and Pacific Islander community through student performances, awards and reflections on belonging, identity and shared growth.

Students were recognized for their contributions to leadership, service, scholarship and community impact during the annual celebration, which also introduced new awards and honored the legacy of Janice Ratliff.

Noppanit “Meena” Monaghan and Keerati (Danny) Sartyoungkul share a passion for preparing meals “the right way” and, at ������Ƶ Dining, they even share a kitchen.

Through her teaching, research and campus involvement, Bethanny Sudibyo is creating spaces where students feel a sense of belonging, something she says first drew her to ������Ƶ.
