Key alumni leaders gathered in Washington, D.C., for an informative retreat hosted by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Office of Alumni Engagement.

More than 750 members of the Class of 2018 supported ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ with a senior class gift.

Jay and Patricia Caler P’15 of Denver, North Carolina, want to help provide the same transformative experience their daughter, Katie ’15, enjoyed as an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ student.

This year saw 78 percent of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ employees make gifts to the institution in support of student scholarships, athletics programs and more. 

Christopher P. Martin ’78 P’13, an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumnus, trustee and parent from Tinton Falls, New Jersey, is one of the university's most loyal and generous benefactors. His recent gift will provide funding for scholarships and other key priorities in the future.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ junior Lindsey Jordan ’19, of Mooresville, North Carolina, shares her passion for helping others thanks to the life-changing impact of her Honors Fellows scholarship. This is the first in a series of videos highlighting the impact of endowed scholarships at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ. 

The eighth annual gratitude event, held April 17, celebrated the impact of philanthropy on ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s campus.

The board was joined by President Connie Ledoux Book as they made the scholarship official at their annual spring meeting.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students, faculty and staff will have the chance to show their appreciation to the university’s donors by writing thank-you cards during A Thousand Thanks, a campus-wide gratitude event taking place Tuesday, April 17.

The largest equipment gift in program history will take ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s nationally recognized program to the next level.
