The gift from Trustee Dr. William N.P. Herbert ’68 and his wife, Marsha, of Charlottesville, Virginia, will support key priorities of the upcoming ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS Campaign, the largest fundraising campaign in the university’s history.

Proceeds from the gift will fund life-changing scholarships that serve students with high financial need in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Odyssey Program. These scholarships are among the top priorities of the upcoming ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS Campaign, the largest fundraising campaign in the university’s history.

Alumni, students, families, faculty, staff and friends gave 6,376 gifts and more than $2.3 million in honor of the day, propelling this year’s ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Day celebration to new heights.

Trustee Shelly Skeens Hazel ’78 and her family advance university priorities to deepen scholarship funding and enhance ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s iconic campus. 

Today all members of the worldwide ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community are invited to participate in this day-long celebration by making a gift to the university and sharing their ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ pride on social media.

Alumni volunteers worked with ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ to coordinate fundraising efforts and host special events on campus during Homecoming weekend, Nov. 2-4.
