ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumna Gail H. LaRose ’64 and her daughter Michelle LaRose, an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ trustee, have made a $2.5 million gift to name a new student gathering space planned for the historic part of campus.

Support from Trustee Cindy Citrone and her husband, Rob, will enable ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ to integrate design thinking into curricular and co-curricular experiences across the campus. 

The celebration will be Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. in McCrary Theatre with a community reception to follow. 

The Tims Access Scholarship will assist students from Mississippi and surrounding states. 

The university is grateful to Kevin Tedeschi P'18 for his support of Richard W. Sankey Hall, which will provide much-needed classrooms and learning facilities for students.

The new convocation center will provide a preeminent facility for Phoenix athletics and university events.

The funding from Oak Foundation will support a growing program that benefits struggling young readers in Alamance County.

The grant from the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations will advance ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's position as a national leader in multifaith work.

 

Kristy and Bill Woolfolk of Hinsdale, Ill., have made a $100,000 gift to help make global engagement possible for students with financial need in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business.

The sixth annual gratitude event, held April 5, celebrated the impact of philanthropy on ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s campus.
