The third annual #ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵDay celebration raised $955,099 from 3,749 gifts, making it the single greatest day of giving in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s history.

The new Richard W. Sankey Hall, to be located just south of Colonnades Dining Hall, will provide classrooms and learning facilities for students in all academic majors. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ parents Geoff and Dottie Jenkins P’09 P’15 are making a difference at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ through planned gifts.

A celebration on March 10, 2015, in honor of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s birthday raised more than $702,000 to support students, scholarships, athletics, and faculty and staff.

The March 11 event connected the recipients of endowed scholarships with donors for an evening of fellowship in McKinnon Hall.

The day will include a Global College Coffee and opportunities for the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community to show they believe in the university by making a gift.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ parents Dwight and Martha Schar have made the largest single gift in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ history, pledging $12 million to name two new buildings planned for the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ campus.

Gifts totaling more than $1.3 million from two estates will provide new scholarship support for students with disabilities and for those pursuing studies in music.

University trustee Jeanne Robertson and her husband Jerry have continued their support of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ athletics by funding extensive improvements to the university’s track and field facilities.

NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams headlined the public kickoff of fundraising for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s new communications facilities.
