Men’s soccer team finishes perfect SoCon season

October 29, 2008

The Phoenix soccer team beat Furman Oct. 28 to complete a 7-0-0 perfect Southern Conference season. This is Ƶ's first regular season men's soccer title in the conference. Ƶ will enter the SoCon tournament Nov. 8 as the top seed, and will host the quarterfinal game on campus.

Tolley named to NAIA Hall of Fame

Jerry Tolley, former head Ƶ football coach and a current member of the University Advancement staff, has been named a member of the 2008-09 Hall of Fame class of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The honor is the highest bestowed by the NAIA.

Six new members inducted into Ƶ Sports Hall of Fame
