Thirty students from an elementary school in Washington, D.C., spent two days on campus this month as part of a joint program between the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Academy and a nonprofit group dedicated to helping under-served youth prepare for and succeed in college.

After an extensive national search, campus leaders have announced that Jodean Schmiederer will join ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ as its new assistant dean of students, with overall responsibility for the Moseley Campus Center, Greek Life, Student Judicial Affairs, Student Activities, Summer Conferences, and Family Weekend.
