Ƶ Teacher-Scholar Statement
What does it mean to be an excellent faculty member at Ƶ? What are the values of the faculty? To collectively answer these questions and communicate its shared values, in 2003 the Ƶ faculty crafted “The Ƶ Teacher-Scholar” statement, a cornerstone of the university. Faculty at Ƶ embrace the ideal of the teacher-scholar, and have defined that ideal, its values, and its expectations in this statement.

Office of Sponsored Programs
The Office of Sponsored Programs at Ƶ promotes and facilitates research and scholarly activities for full-time faculty and administrative staff by helping them locate and secure external funding.
Institutional Review Board
On behalf of Ƶ, the Institutional Review Board’s (IRB) major role is to safeguard the rights and welfare of all human subjects who participate in research projects conducted by Ƶ.
Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee
The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) provides oversight for Ƶ’s commitment to the respectful treatment, care, and use of animals involved in research and teaching, to ensure this treatment and care is an ethical and scientific necessity, and the use of animals in research and teaching contributes to the advancement of knowledge and the acquisition of understanding.
