The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ News Bureau seeks to elevate the profile of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ through dedicated and insightful storytelling that highlights the accomplishments and achievements of the university community’s students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends. Central to this mission is Today at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, the university’s news site that provides daily updates about ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s people, initiatives and priorities.
Connecting the media with ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ
The News Bureau also serves as the primary liaison between the university and the news media. The News Bureau issues all news releases on behalf of the university and coordinates requests by media to visit campus or interview professors and staff about their work. The News Bureau also works to make members of the media aware of university experts who can assist in providing timely commentary or insights.
