Noiles, who passed away in February, and her late husband, Doug, were generous supporters of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ and offered significant backing for the Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life and the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Academy.  

Lauren Salig '17, a psychology and Spanish double major from Downingtown, Pennsylvania, will travel to South America as part of a federal program that builds good will between the United States and people of other nations. 

The research focuses on the use of magnetic forces to move polymer composites embedded with magnetic particles and could have practical application in medical diagnostic devices.  

Leena Dahal '17 will pursue a master's degree in modern south Asian studies at the University of Cambridge in England with the support of a scholarship established by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. 

A starting forward on ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's team, Tyler Seibring '19 has earned nearly a 4.0 GPA during his first three semesters at the university. 

The North Carolina Bar Association’s 2017 Law Student Group Pro Bono Award recognizes efforts at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law to help regional attorneys who represent asylum seekers fleeing persecution in their home countries.

Mariana Kneppers '18 is a biology and environmental and ecological science major originally from Walnut Creek, California, who is focusing her Lumen Prize research on coastal wetlands.

The journalism and media analytics double major will participate in a 10-week investigative reporting assignment at Arizona State University this summer, examining water quality and its impact in the United States.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ BrainCARE Research Institute will host its fourth-annual symposium on Thursday, April 6. 

The university hosted a formal dedication for the new facilities of the School of Communications, which now spans three buildings and 105,000 square feet of space.
