ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ will hold a special memorial service on Tuesday, April 18, for Edna Truitt Noiles, a generous and steadfast supporter of the university who passed away in February at the age of 93.

Noiles and her late husband, Doug, played a key role in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s growth during the past several decades, with her philanthropic efforts leading to the creation of the Vera Richardson Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life and the launch of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Academy. In honor of her consistent support of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ throughout her life, she was presented with the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Medallion, the university’s highest honor, in a ceremony at her home last summer.

The memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. in the Sacred Space of the Numen Lumen Pavilion. All are invited to attend.
