Special ceremony honors one ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ graduate

It just didn’t seem right that Ashlee Crewe had to forfeit her college graduation to join teammates in Georgia this weekend for the NCAA softball tournament. So in front of family and friends, Crewe received her diploma Wednesday evening from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ President Leo M. Lambert in a ceremony honoring the only senior on the Southern Conference championship team.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ junior Lauren Ross, a leisure and sport management major, and associate professor Tony Weaver presented a poster titled “A Current Examination of the Historically Black Colleges and University Division I Athletic Directors” at the 2010 Scholarly Conference on College Sport in Chapel Hill, N.C., held from April 21-23.
