Barbara Gordon makes local TV appearances

Barbara Gordon, an associate professor of English, made appearances on local morning television programs this fall to speak about the publication of her co-authored book, Breast Cancer Recurrence and Advanced Disease: Comprehensive Expert Guidance, published by Duke University Press.

Kiplinger’s names Ƶ a 2010-11 “Best Value”

Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine has ranked Ƶ among the nation’s top 50 best values in private higher education and the #9 university in lowest total costs, a distinction published in the magazine’s December edition. The 2010-11 ranking is the fifth consecutive top-50 placement of Ƶ by Kiplinger’s.

Greensboro, Ƶ Law in spotlight of David Gergen’s blog

David Gergen, prominent political commentator, former presidential adviser and chair of Ƶ Law's advisory board, features a posting on his "David Gergen's Voice" blog about the revitalization of downtown Greensboro, N.C. The piece, by Gergen's son Christopher, describes the role that Ƶ Law and other foundation-supported initiatives have played in the city's economic transformation.
