ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law professor Henry Gabriel recently spoke at the World Bank Roundtable on Responsible Agricultural Development in Washington D.C on UNIDROIT's Role in Food Security and Agricultural Finance. He also spoke at the International Law Institute in Washington D.C. on The Proposed UNIDROIT Protocol on Agricultural Equipment Finance.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law alumna selected for Presidential Management Fellowship

Nicole Patterson, a member of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law's Class of 2010, has been accepted into the Presidential Management Fellowship (PMF) program. Through her fellowship, Patterson will be working in the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Lu Johnson selected as Senior Editor for Southern Region Black Law Students Association Law Journal

Lu Johnson, a member of the Class of 2011 at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law, was recently selected as a Senior Editor for The Southern Region Black Law Students Association Law Journal (SRBLSJ). The Journal, established in 2005, was created "as an answer to law students' and other professionals' concern of a lack of a representative voice for issues facing southern Blacks," its website states.

Henry Gabriel appointed to ABA's International and Domestic Policy Advisory Group

Henry Gabriel, professor of law at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ School of Law, has been appointed to the American Bar Association (ABA) International and Domestic Policy Advisory Group, a committee of the ABA Section of Science and Technology Law which seeks to promote sound policy and public understanding on issues at the intersection of law, science, and technology.
