On August 18, the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law Class of 2013, along with second-year and third-year law students, participated in the fourth annual “ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law Reaches Out” community service day. During the event, more than 150 law students assisted the work of eleven nonprofit and educational organizations in the Greensboro community.

At the 2010 annual meeting of the Business Law, Corporate Counsel and International Law and Practice Sections of the North Carolina Bar Association, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law professor Thomas Molony delivered the North Carolina Business Law Update, reviewing the implications of key business and commercial law cases recently decided by North Carolina courts.

KARAMAH is a human rights organization of Muslim women lawyers dedicated to promoting dignity for all human beings through education and legal outreach.

In a project sponsored by The Southern California Innovation Project of the University of Southern California School of Law and hosted by the Center for the Advanced Study of Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University, participants, including ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law's John Alexander, worked to develop concrete goals, metrics and methods to transform legal education in ways that better prepare law students for the business and ethical dimensions of law practice.
