The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ women's basketball team will take on West Virginia University on Friday, March 17, at 2:30 p.m. in College Park, Maryland. 

The university is committed to ensuring that student-athletes are able to take advantage of the global engagement experiences that are a hallmark of an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ education. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's women's basketball team, seeded No. 11 in their region, will play in College Park, Maryland, on Friday, March 17, in the first round of the Tournament. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's women's basketball team will play for the CAA conference tournament championship at 7 p.m. on Saturday. 

First-year student Molly Offstein of Frostburg, Maryland, was seriously injured on March 7 when she was hit by a car while out for a morning run. 

The March 1 contest marks the first time in the program's Division I era that the team can claim the regular season title outright with a win. 

Reeves comes to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ from Radford University, where he has served as head coach for the past seven seasons. 

Curt Cignetti was introduced to the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community at a January 2 news conference in Alumni Field House.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ parents Ken and Malinda Gill of Charlotte, N.C., are among the donors who have recently made generous gifts to support the Schar Center, the university’s new 5,400-seat convocation center.
