Leandra Lorenz was named the CAA Most Outstanding Track Performer after the redshirt sophomore won two event titles in the 1,500-meters and the 5,000-meters.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ will take on Gardner Webb University on Sept. 17 at 6 p.m.

All 12 ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students who were selected as semifinalists by the prestigious program that offers opportunities abroad for recent graduates were either selected as finalists or named alternates.

Taylor comes to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ after three years as an assistant coach at the University of Iowa, with previous head coaching experience at Lehigh University, Ball State University and Belmont Abbey College.

Taylor comes to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ from the University of Iowa, where he has served for the last three seasons as an assistant coach under Fran McCaffery.

George is one of 417 students across the nation awarded the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship.

Two major fall 2022 event dates have been confirmed. Family Weekend will kick off on Friday, Sept. 30, with events taking place throughout the weekend, and Homecoming and Reunion Weekend is Nov. 4-6.

The Phoenix look to improve on last season's 6-5 campaign, beginning with a visit to Vanderbilt on Sept. 3.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ volleyball team set off to Italy to learn more about modern Italian culture and the differences among major volleyball-playing nations around the world. The Phoenix will also take on club teams Liberte Forti Firenze and ASD Castelfranco de Sotto during their visit.
