Amy Johnson, associate professor of history and director of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Core Curriculum, presented a paper entitled "Sustainable Identities: Indigenous Incorporation among the Maroons of Jamaica." 

The session was one of three co-organized by Evan A. Gatti, associate professor of art history, for Episcopus, an interdisciplinary, scholarly society.

Students from Mark Enfield’s COR110 class hosted fifth-grade students from a local elementary school for a day at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ.  

John Della Volpe is the director of polling at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Institute of Politics and is founder and CEO of SocialSphere, a big data and social media analytics company.

Author's visit includes interactions with students at four separate Common Core Forums on Thursday and Friday. Her keynote address is Thursday at 5 p.m. in Alumni Gym.

Robert Bullard, who is known as the "father of environmental justice," will speak at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ on Tuesday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m. in McKinnon Hall. 

Since the beginning of January, students in Health Care Strategies for the 21st Century have worked with local health care professionals to develop strategic market strategies for their organizations. 

Johnson, an assistant professor of history, moves into the role of director after teaching COR 110 and Core Capstone Seminars, as well as being tapped as Common Reading coordinator in 2015.
