The national Council on Undergraduate Research ranks ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ among the nation's top 57 colleges and universities "leading the way" in student participation.

Twenty-two percent of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ graduates complete an undergraduate research project, and every year the university provides travel funding to support scores of students who present their original research at NCUR. The annual event has been the leading national venue for the presentation of undergraduate research for the past 28 years.
Each April, the university community gathers to celebrate undergraduate research during the annual Spring University Research Forum (SURF). Students also may participate in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Summer Undergraduate Research Experiences (SURE), which offer intensive experiences led by faculty mentors. Many ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ scholarship and grant programs support undergraduate student research activities.
ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Undergraduate Research Program is led by Professor Paul Miller. For more information about undergraduate reseach at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, visit the program’s website:
