Miss North Carolina USA Kristen Dalton, of Wilmington, N.C., was crowned Miss USA 2009 on Sunday, April 19. The senior at East Carolina University is the daughter of 1983 ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumnus Alan Dalton. Alan, who played baseball at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, is the former leader of the university’s Cape Fear Alumni Chapter.
