Two student organizations have teamed up for a series of events this month to celebrate the environment. The Green Team and Sierra Club are raising awareness of environmental sustainability, which includes Earth Day on April 22, during the campus community’s second annual “Earth Week.”

For the third consecutive year, the ������Ƶ Bateman Team has received recognition in the nation's highest competition for public relations students.

������Ƶ's Department of Performing Arts presents the hilarious farce "Noises Off," directed by Fredrick J. Rubeck, in McCrary Theatre, Thursday-Sunday, April 23-26.

This weekend approximately 400 students and more than 1,000 guests will visit ������Ƶ as part of Spring Orientation weekend. The event begins at 12 p.m. Friday, April 24 and offers students a chance to learn more about what to expect at ������Ƶ before the 2009-2010 academic year begins.

In an effort to encourage campus community members to reduce their environmental impact, ������Ƶ has initiated a Sustainability Pledge, which asks those who sign it to make at least three positive changes in their daily lives.
