Taphouse
Located past Pandora’s Pies, Taphouse is THE place to throw the best events on campus. Taphouse comes equipped with a sound system, space for over 250 people, and a stage for fun activities like karaoke, banquets, open mic, and battle of the bands. The sound system and assistance from a sound technician are also available upon request.
Groups wanting to host events at Taphouse must submit a  request at least 3 weeks prior to the event.
Campus Safety & Police
Campus Safety and Police must be hired if there are 100+ guests, if alcohol is served, and/or if non-ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ guests are invited. Security must be hired at a minimum rate of $50/hour for a minimum of 2 officers for at least 4 hours. The Officer Request Form must be submitted to the Campus Police Department at least ten (10) working days prior to the event (will be prompted to complete the officer request form through the event request process).
Food & Beverage
ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Dining is required for catered food and alcohol. Any exception to this policy can only be made by the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Dining Resident District Manager. Please contact ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Dining at (336) 278-5330 for assistance.
ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ treats ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ students and their guests as responsible adults and expects them to act accordingly. ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ, and/or its employees, are not responsible for the conduct of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ students and their guests. As the sponsoring organization, you accept full responsibility for the actions of your members and guests. If alcohol is served, the organization sponsoring the event is responsible for seeing that all laws of the State of NC are followed with respect to age and over consumption. The sponsoring organization could be held liable, along with the University, for any problems that arise from the dispensing of alcohol at the Taphouse.
