Professional Learning Tracks
The Boldly ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ strategic plan theme of “Thrive” includes an objective to “support faculty and staff development across career stages and professional ranks with new leadership and learning pathways, and greater access to feedback, coaching and mentoring.”
In support of that objective, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ has established learning tracks to promote professional development of early career and mid-level employees. The design of these programs considered information gathered in a spring 2022 staff culture survey.
ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Early Career Institute
Resources, support, connection to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s goals, professional learning strategies and a supportive cohort of colleagues for 35-40 members representing the various divisions in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s community. The program is appropriate for staff members who are in their first four years working in higher education. A call for participant applications for each new cohort is made in late February/early March. Once selection of participants is completed, the new program begins in June.
