A Structured Start to College

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Launch is a 6-credit, 3-week residential transition program that gives incoming first-year ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students an intentional head start on college life. Build academic, social and executive functioning skills while acclimating to the expectations of college-level work. While open to any student seeking a structured start, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Launch is intentionally designed to meet the needs of neurodiverse students, including those with ADHD, autism spectrum conditions, anxiety or executive functioning challenges.

Through academic coursework, a student success seminar and structured mentoring, you’ll engage in college classes, establish effective habits and develop meaningful connections with peers, faculty and campus resources. Complete one ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Core Curriculum course (PSY 1000, Introduction to Psychology – 4 credits) and a 2-credit Executive Functioning & Student Success Seminar while living on campus and participating in community activities that build confidence, belonging and readiness for the fall semester.

Live in a residence hall with peer mentors. Get to know other participants who are also in the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Class of 2030. Take one class in the morning and one in the afternoon. Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner on campus. Participate in co-curricular and social activities.
