NCUR is an annual undergraduate research conference. It is held each spring and organized by the Council on Undergraduate Research in cooperation with a host campus. Open to undergraduate students in all disciplines and all institutions of higher education, NCUR routinely boasts more than 4,000 presentations delivered by students from over 400 different colleges and universities. The venue for NCUR changes from year to year. In 2026, NCUR will be held April 13-15 in Richmond, VA. Click to watch videos on ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ student perceptions of NCUR.
If you plan to obtain URP funding to attend NCUR (these grants cover airfare, ground transportation, lodging, and registration), you must submit an NCUR Travel Grant Application (see below) and receive formal approval from the undergraduate research office before submitting an abstract at NCUR’s website.
Barring extenuating circumstances, students who receive NCUR travel funding from the Undergraduate Research Program are expected to submit an application to present at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Spring Undergraduate Research Forum (SURF).
