2026-2027 Executive Council

The Executive Council includes the elected Student Body President, Executive Vice President, Vice President of Communications, and Vice President of Finance along with the Speaker of the Senate (who is selected by the Senate from among the elected Senators).

Michael Swartz, Executive President

Michael Swartz is a senior from Davidson, North Carolina, majoring in Strategic Communications with a minor in Leadership Studies. He serves as the Executive President of the Student Government Association and is grateful for the opportunity to be involved across campus through SGA, Residence Life, Alpha Kappa Psi, Campus Tour Guides, Beta Theta Pi, and Leadership Fellows. Michael is also a camp counselor for children with Type One diabetes, an experience that has shaped his commitment to empathy, connection, and service. Through his leadership, he is focused on strengthening community, increasing accessibility, and enhancing the overall student experience for everyone at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ.

Oliver Keicher, Executive Vice President

Oliver Keicher is a rising senior from Sycamore Illinois majoring in Supply Chain Management and Data Analytics. On campus he leads perspective families around campus as a tour guide and Tuesday nights between 9-10 he hosts a WSOE radio show. On the weekends, Oliver leads ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ students on ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Outdoors adventures, from backpacking the Appalachian Trail to paddling the Haw River. Deeply passionate about aerospace manufacturing, he is interning this summer on the supply chain team at Honda Aircraft at the Greensboro airport. After graduation, Oliver hopes to build a career in aerospace manufacturing, leveraging his ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ experiences both in and out of the classroom. He prides himself on innovative thinking, problem solving, and being a dependable team member, and is excited to serve as SGA Executive Vice President.

Tyler Mastrangelo, Vice President of Communications

Tyler Mastrangelo is a sophomore from Marco Island, Florida, majoring in Computer Science with minors in Cybersecurity and Psychology at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ. He currently serves as the VP of Communications for the Student Government Association, where he leads digital communications and social media strategy to increase student engagement with SGA initiatives. Tyler is also a CS1 Teaching Assistant and Maker Hub Consultant, where he helps students with hands-on technology projects and programming fundamentals. After graduating, he hopes to pursue a career in software engineering and full-stack development.

Cayce Becker, Vice President of Finance

Cayce Becker is a Public Health Major and Leadership Fellow from the Philadelphia Suburbs, majoring in Public Health. She has minors in health communications, policy studies, and leadership studies. Cayce has been a member of SGA since her freshman year, serving two terms as the assistant comptroller to the VP of Finance before going abroad and as a College of Arts and Sciences senator after returning to campus. She is excited to take on the VP of Finance role and support positive collaboration and events across campus!

Ellie Agulnek, Speaker of the Senate

Ellie Agulnek is a senior from Chicago, Illinois, double majoring in Communication Design and Computer Science with a minor in Leadership Studies. She currently serves as the Speaker of the Senate for the Student Government Association, where she is passionate about working alongside Senators to make a lasting impact on campus and fostering mentorship and collaboration within the Senate. An Isabella Cannon Leadership Fellow and Campus Tour Guide, Ellie has built her ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ experiences around connection and community. These values are central to her as both a leader and a person, informing the way she engages, communicates, and leads. She is drawn to the intersection of creativity and problem-solving and hopes to pursue a career that harnesses both purposefully.
