������Ƶ Law alumnus Matt Krueger-Andes L’11 and sister Juli Krueger-Andes have made a gift to endow a scholarship to honor their father, David Andes ’65. The David A. Andes and Family Internship Endowment will provide financial assistance to students pursuing these life-changing experiences.

President Connie Ledoux Book was joined by scholar-in-residence Lee Rainie, formerly of the Pew Research Centers, in presenting the statement at the United Nations Internet Governance Forum in Kyoto, Japan, on Oct. 9

Through the fellowship, the director of the Center for Research on Global Engagement will be advancing her work on mentored undergraduate research in global contexts.

������Ƶ in Charlotte will serve students, parents, alumni and the community, offering collaborative learning, networking and professional development opportunities.

������Ƶ continues to be the leader in the “Programs to Look For” feature as the only college or university in the country ranked in the top 20 in all eight categories of academic programs linked to student success and positive learning outcomes.

The event is an opportunity to gather with family, friends, and neighbors to eat, drink, and listen to music with the Historic Depot as the backdrop. 

Six accomplished graduates of ������Ƶ have joined a group of prominent attorneys and business leaders who counsel the School of Law on opportunities for growing its academic programs and national reputation.

Campus Pride, a national resource for LGBTQ+ leadership development, diversity inclusion and advocacy within higher education, recently announced ������Ƶ as one of the "Best of the Best" in supporting LGBTQIA students. 

Among those visiting ������Ƶ will be journalist and author Mónica Guzmán, entrepreneur Daymond John, activist and CEO Reshma Saujani and the authors of “We are Charleston: Tragedy and Triumph at Mother Emanuel.”

A national search will begin this fall for the next leader of ������Ƶ’s largest academic division.
