Trustees approve faculty promotions and tenure

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ trustees have granted tenure and approved promotions for several faculty members. The action came at the board's spring meeting, which was held on campus Feb. 26-27, 2016.

In an abundance of caution, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ has postponed or rerouted five Spring Break service programs to Central America and the Caribbean this March to minimize the possibility of students contracting the Zika virus.

The associate professor of education from East Carolina University will oversee an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ school with 22 full-time faculty members and five full-time faculty members from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ College, the College of Arts and Sciences, who work with teacher education programs.
