Spend a summer or semester living and interning in one of the most dynamic cities in the U.S. — Los Angeles, New York City, Washington, D.C., or Charlotte — through ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Study USA programs

Four ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumni recently took part in a week-long boot camp focused on job search strategies and connecting with alumni professionals.

Study USA launched its first summer program in Charlotte, comprised of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students interning with various organizations around the city while taking a class on Urban Design in Charlotte.

Eight students were awarded funds for the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Queen City Internship Grant.

More than 40 ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students participated in summer internships throughout Alamance County as part of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Campus Alamance program. This year, the program placed a strong emphasis on the interns becoming contributing members of the organizations they work with.

The Study USA ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ in New York program hosted an alumni networking event to connect students and alumni in the city

Alamance Chamber of Commerce President and CEO led a discussion with Cone Health executive Mark Gordon and Alliance MOCVD co-founder Sara Cloud during a visit to the headquarters of global textile company Glen Raven.

Seven students began the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ in Charlotte summer program this May, a professional launching pad and way for students to explore a new city before moving after graduation.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ recognizes the 10 staff members who are retiring after years of dedicated service to the campus community.

The staff members were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the university at a May 31 awards program during the annual staff day celebration.
