Each year two Career Advising Fellows assist in all aspects of the Student Professional Development Center's operations, including student professional development programs, events, advising and more.

How do we turn our lofty New Year's resolutions into concrete developmental strategies? Alison Doherty, a career advising fellow, encourages us to take a step back and acknowledge our past accomplishments before setting new goals.

The event will be from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Student Professional Development Center, Moseley 140.

Kelly Valerio’20 used the support she found at the Student Professional Development Center staff to build her professional network and understand the value of using keywords to land a job related to her passion for travel and her experience with the hospitality industry.

Sofia Stanchina '21 turned to the staff in the Student Professional Development Center after unsuccessfully pursuing internship opportunities, and found the help she needed to land a meaningful internship experience.

On Tuesday, November 12 from 3:30-5:30 pm in McKinnon Hall representatives from non-profit organizations, rooted in domestic and international causes, will discuss internships, fellowships, post-graduate, and full-time employment opportunities with ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students who are passionate about building careers making a difference in the world. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumnae Nicole Friend ’15 and Brooke Muller ’19 visited campus on Oct. 29, meeting with three classes as well as Live Oak Communications students, and hosting an interactive workshop and informational session.
