The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Board of Trustees met on Feb. 28 and granted tenure and approved promotions for several faculty members.

Justice, an assistant professor of education at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 26, after a prolonged illness. She had been a member of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ faculty since 2014.

Justice, an assistant professor of education, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020. She joined the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ faculty in 2014 and her teaching and scholarship focused on areas of literacy development and literacy education policy.

The Job & Internship Expo will be held on Tues. Feb. 25 from 2 to 5 p.m. in Alumni Gym. The expo is exclusively for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students who wish to engage with employer recruiters from across industries.

Registration for the Challenge, which will be held Saturday, Feb. 29, is now open and closes Feb. 21.

The continuing education and professional development program was launched earlier this year and offers lifelong learning opportunities to alumni and members of the broader ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community.

The National Council on Teacher Quality examined the university’s use of scientifically based methods for teaching reading.
