Nursing Professors Jeanmarie Koonts and Cyra Kussman presented their work on growing the next generation of culturally competent nursing students through transcultural experiences and experiential learning.

The grant paid for the "Friday Night at the ER" game that simulated the real-world tasks of managing human and physical resources in a hospital setting.

The fellowship gave the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ nursing student practical experience in her field of interest, just in time for graduation in spring 2026.
