The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Black Alumni Network presented awards Nov. 3 to five members of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community as part of its Homecoming festivities

Five alumni were honored during a Nov. 2 awards ceremony that kicked off the Homecoming festivities.
 

The building dedication during Homecoming offered the opportunity to express gratitude for supporters of the project including ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ parents Jim and Beth Sankey of Charlotte, N.C. The building is named for Jim Sankey's father, a business leader in Canton, Ohio, who passed away in 2013. 

The founder and CEO of Hint Inc., Goldin detailed her path to success during her visit to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ to deliver the 2018 C. Ashton Newhall Endowed Lecture on Thursday, Nov. 1.

Sixty-five participants jumpstarted their career development at the Oct. 23 event.
