Fifty-six ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law students participated in the Innocence Project this semester, reviewing credible claims of innocence by individuals convicted of crimes in North Carolina. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law's U.S. veterans, including students, faculty, staff and alumni, were recognized for their service at a Law School luncheon on Veteran's Day, Nov. 11. 

Faith Rivers James, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law’s associate dean for experiential learning and leadership, and professor of law, presented on ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law’s pioneering leadership program this week in Georgia, at both a scholar/practitioner workshop and a national conference.

Students at Guilford College now have the option of an accelerated pathway to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ School of Law under a new agreement between the two Greensboro institutions.

Professor George R. Johnson, Jr., who served as dean of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ School of Law from 2009 to 2014, was named Dean Emeritus on Nov. 2 at a special ceremony that included the unveiling of Johnson’s portrait. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law’s inaugural Alumni Involvement Week, held Oct. 19-22, welcomed dozens of alumni to share insights with students and strengthen professional connections. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law’s Moot Court Board is pleased to announce the 22 students who have been selected for membership on the Board.

An ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law, Say Yes Guilford partnership in which law students will help to address legal needs of Guilford County school students and their families was featured Oct. 27 by the News & Record and Nov. 2 by the High Point Enterprise. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law Professor David S. Levine was joined by 20 cyberlaw and cybersecurity professors and researchers in calling for the U.S. Senate to reject the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act ("CISA"). Their Oct. 26 letter points to legal and privacy issues arising from the legislation and the bill's weaknesses in advancing solutions to cybersecurity challenges.

The online ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Business Law Journal today published an article titled "The Effect of New Tax Regulations on Hydraulic Fracturing in North Carolina" by Austin Raymond, a member of the Class of 2016 at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law.
