Educators from 20 colleges and universities are exploring the impact of study abroad and domestic study away programs in a seminar sponsored by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's Center for Engaged Learning.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ staff and faculty were active contributors at this year's annual conference of NAFSA: Association of International Educators. 

The Study Abroad/Study USA application system will be down for maintenance on Saturday, June 13.

Following an inspiring Winter Term experience, Drew Forte ’15 and several other ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students collected more than 200 items of baseball equipment and shipped them in May to youth organizations in the Caribbean country.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ senior Alexandria "Lexie" Savic will begin her career in Denmark after securing an internship with the Danish Institute for Study Abroad with help from the Student Professional Development Center.

The Distinguished Scholar in Residence at Candler School of Theology at Emory University visits campus Monday for a 7 p.m. talk sponsored by Study USA. The program is free and open to the public.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ African Society, in collaboration with CREDE, the Global Education Center, African and African American Studies, and the Latin American Student Organization, hosts ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's first Africa Week, celebrating Africa's influence around the world. 

On Wednesday, April 8, from 12-4 p.m., faculty members from the Department of World Languages and Cultures and representatives from the Global Education Center will be available in the Moseley Open Kitchen to answer student and faculty questions about language majors and minors, regional studies programs and global engagement opportunities.
