Over 100 students attended events to learn about Study USA opportunities in Charlotte, Los Angeles, New York City, and Washington, DC.

Spring semester ������Ƶ Los Angeles students begin their second week in the city at Warner Bros. Studios.

A week of events is planned for students, faculty, and staff to learn about ������Ƶ's programs in major metropolitan areas around the country.

The spring program in Los Angeles will provide a unique experience this year for the 17 ������Ƶ students participating.

Led by faculty members Israel Balderas and Jill Auditori, 11 ������Ƶ students received a firsthand look at this year’s presidential primaries in South Carolina and New Hampshire as part of their interdisciplinary Study USA course, The Presidential Campaign Starts Here: The First Primaries.

Media outlets in China highlighted the Winter Term program led by faculty members Lin Zhao and Honglin Xiao and how the program contributed to cross-cultural understanding.

The plan will continue to further ������Ƶ’s commitment to comprehensive internationalization, to ensure that all students graduate with the global perspectives, knowledge, cultural awareness, and humility needed to thrive in today’s world.

������Ƶ supported a group of 20 staff members to participate in a transformative global experience during the Faculty Staff London Program 2024. They brought home new relationships and shared experiences that will enhance the student global experiences at ������Ƶ across multiple ������Ƶ departments.

Lemack, who has served as an adjunct faculty member with the ������Ƶ in Los Angeles Study USA program since 2010, will begin in the new role on Jan. 22.

The cohort of 12 undergraduate students has been studying in Charlotte since August, as part of the ������Ƶ in Charlotte: The Sport Experience program, which has allowed them to attend over 15 enrichment activities and converse with over 40 alumni these past four months.
