Fourteen students received their white coats, signifying their immersion into the clinical practice of nursing, during a ceremony in the McBride Gathering Space on Friday, Feb. 4.

Bill Andrews, Crystal Ramsey and Srikant Vallabhajosula conducted research with DPT alumni Jhonelle Francis and Whitney Jaffe that has been accepted for publication in NeuroRehabilitation.

Four ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ PA faculty and three ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ PA adjunct faculty contributed to this review text that is promoted by the national PA organization, the American Academy of PAs (AAPA).

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program and Physician Assistant Studies program welcomed new classes of students following a highly selective admissions process. The three-year, full-time DPT Program enrolled 47 students while the 24-month, full-time PA Program enrolled 38 students.

The award recognizes a presentation that has the potential to have a positive influence toward excellence in physical therapy education.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s School of Law and School of Health Sciences celebrated the pride and heritage of students who recognize their African roots in a Commencement eve program filled with laughs, cheers, and many boxes of tissues for the tears of joy of both graduates and their guests.

The 2021 School of Health Sciences commencement is the first joint ceremony between the Doctor of Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant Studies programs at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ.
