The social media conversation on November 2, 2016, is the inaugural video chat with ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law faculty on legal topics in the news.

The associate professor at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law addressed the Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016 at an October program co-sponsored by the Virginia CLE and the Intellectual Property Section of the Virginia State Bar, and he discussed "confidentiality creep" at an event hosted by Marquette Law.

An Oct. 10, 2016, article in the News & Record of Greensboro focused on five contested District Court seats in Guilford County and how voters should evaluate candidates. 

A Legal Method and Communication Fellow at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law, Atkins contributed to a discussion on "Breaking-In and Staying-In the Law School Community" for the Society of American Law Teachers’ annual conference.

The associate professor of law proposes legislation to facilitate consultation by a woman considering abortion with a physician whom she has chosen to provide her with comprehensive care, while respecting her constitutional rights.

Associate Professor David S. Levine and Tim McFarlin, a Legal Method and Communication Fellow at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law, presented their scholarship at the 16th Annual Intellectual Property Scholars Conference.

The grant will support the Refugee Assistance Program at the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ School of Law. 

Antonette Barilla, director of Academic Support and Bar Preparation and a scholar of international law, will have her 2015 article on cultural diplomacy reprinted in a forthcoming “best of” edition of the American Bar Association’s GPSolo magazine.

Newspapers across North Carolina recently featured a guest column by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law Associate Professor Andy Haile, who expressed legal and public policy concerns about a proposed amendment to the state constitution.
