������Ƶ’s Sport Management Department will host its annual symposium on Wednesday, April 20, featuring a keynote conversation and two expert-led panel discussions. The in-person event will address the “Changing Dynamics in Sports Media.”

The sport management major, who recently completed an internship with the Super Bowl-winning Rams, credits School of Communications faculty and staff for putting her in a position to achieve her professional goals.

In conjunction with the Student Professional Development Center, the School of Communications hosted the COM Meet and Greet on Feb. 22, attracting seven organizations representing a variety of communications-related industries.

The former ������Ƶ women’s basketball team captain and current Bucks sideline reporter became the first woman to handle play-by-play responsibilities in the franchise’s 53-year history.

The sophomore sports broadcaster was one of three recipients of the Abe Voron Scholarship, presented to students pursuing a career in radio.

The 1 p.m. tipoff will feature alumnus Taylor Durham ’96 as the broadcast’s play-by-play announcer, with ������Ƶ junior Tellier Lundquist serving as color commentator.

With the COVID-19 pandemic impacting television production around the globe, ������Ƶ’s student-run weekly sports magazine show has gone virtual to continue to tell insightful and entertaining stories.
