ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Music Ambassadors Share Inspiring Program with Wilmington High Schools

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Music Ambassadors instrumental and vocal ensemble, directed by Virginia Novine Whittaker, recently performed for high school audiences in the Richmond, Virginia area on April 24 and 25.

The five annual awards acknowledge excellence in teaching, mentoring, scholarship and service-leadership among faculty and staff in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ College, the College of Arts and Sciences.

Nicole Bazos ’25 says her ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ education helped her stand out from the crowd when applying for an internship with Republic Studios in New York City. Now, she’s getting first-hand experience at one of the largest record labels in the world.

Eady performed Crusell’s Clarinet Concerto No. 1 and won the annual soloist competition held Sunday, Feb. 21 at Shenandoah Conservatory.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Music Ambassadors will present a variety of music styles meant to lift spirits and promote peace during the ensembles fall concert "Songs of Unity and Peace."

The North Carolina Brass Band will present a program of Latin Music on Sept. 22 and 23.

The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 16 in Yeager Recital Hall.
