Four new majors will be offered to ������Ƶ students starting in the fall. Early childhood education is an addition to the School of Education’s programs; information science replaces the current computer information systems major in the Department of Computing Sciences; and public health studies, and arts administration, are both interdisciplinary majors within ������Ƶ College, the College of Arts and Sciences.

After a month-long search, CELEBRATE! organizers have unveiled a new logo for the weeklong celebration that highlights student achievements in academics and the arts.

A New York-based nonprofit has awarded a $200,000 grant to ������Ƶ and Wofford College for a joint project to assist departments at both schools in better measuring how students learn and to help assess efforts by both institutions to strengthen diversity and global engagement.

A team of ������Ƶ researchers will examine the effects of concussions in student-athletes using a grant of nearly $17,000 awarded this month by the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
