Five faculty members were honored on Monday, Aug. 19, for their excellent work in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ College, the College of Arts & Sciences.  

As the Class of 2023 prepares to move to campus Friday, we are taking a look back at what Move-In Day was like for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students and their families in 1986. 

Chunco, associate professor of environmental studies, will spend the next two years as the Japheth E. Rawls professor for Undergraduate Research in Science.

Sinn, an assistant professor of history, joined the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ faculty in 2016 and is also director of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Jewish Studies program.

The double major in policy studies and sociology serves as the president of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Mock Trial, a mentor to local high school students and an avid researcher.

With co-authors from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Carroll offers practical advice for public health and law enforcment professionals trying to work together.

De Lama, associate professor of Spanish, presented her research at the 29th International Conference of the Association of Gender and Sexuality Studies (AGSS)-- WOmen Creating in Literary and Intercultural Education—held at the Universitat de València, Spain.
