A Silicon Valley pioneer and investor, Mitch Kapor was presented with the medal at an April 12 ceremony at the Koury Business Center. 

The Doherty Center for Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship is organizing the trip for those interested the movement to use business “as a force for good.”

The Love Award for Excellence in Business Leadership provided the senior with an opportunity to pursue a research project focusing on the role venture capital networks play in determining a startup’s success.

Kapor, an entrepreneur, technologist, investor and social advocate, will be presented with the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Medal for Entrepreneurial Leadership on April 12 at 5 p.m. in the LaRose Digital Theatre.

The students join a global community of Fellows charged with increasing campus engagement with innovation, entrepreneurship, design thinking and creativity.

Craig Dubitsky, founder of eos products and hello products, offered insights into what has driven his business ventures during the 2017 C. Ashton Newhall Endowed Lecture at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ on Tuesday, Oct. 24. 

The Nov. 1 Idea Pitch Launch Event will mark the beginning of the 2017-18 ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Innovation Challenge. 

Serial entrepreneur Craig Dubitsky will discuss challenging the status quo to disrupt markets in a presentation hosted by the Doherty Center for Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Donors and members of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community came together Friday, Oct. 6, to dedicate the site for Sankey Hall and sign a steel plate to be put into place and remain visible once the building is complete. 

The Doherty Center for Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship invites participation by students in all ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ academic programs.
